What is the difference between an MRA and MRI?

by Administrator 12. February 2010 07:05

While MRIs and MRAs use similar techniques and equipment, they are used to scan different parts of the body. Magnetic Resonance Images are typically used to provide images of the body's soft tissues.

Magnetic resonance angiography, on the other hand, is used to study blood vessels. It aids doctors in diagnosing strokes, heart disorders, and vascular diseases.

If you or anyone you know has suffered negative side effects from MRIs, contact the gadolinium lawyers of Williams Kherkher at 800-761-3187.
