Medical imaging company will release a new constrast imaging agent

Lantheus Medical Imaging Inc. will release a new constrast imaging agent. The agent contains the element gadolinium, which has been shown to lead to negative side effects.

The drug was approved for use in magnetic resonance angiography. It will be mainly used to evaluate a certain peripheral vascular disease known as AIOD.
