Medical experts will consider adding new warnings to gadolinium drugs

by Administrator 7. December 2009 05:57

Medical experts affiliated with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will consider whether new warnings should be added to certain drugs, including drugs that contain gadolinium.

The drugs in question are made by General Electric, Bayer AG, Covidien Plc and other drug manufacturers. These drugs generate hundreds of millions of dollars in sales each year and are often used for magnetic resonance imaging.

If you or anyone you know has suffered ill side effects from taking a gadolinium-based contast agent, contact the NSF lawyers of Williams Kherkher at 800-761-3187.
