Is Gadolinium Safe?

by Administrator 25. March 2009 05:45

People have been questioning the safety of gadolinium after many individuals developed serious side effects from the MRI agent.  In individuals that have a healthy and fully functional kidneys,  it is relatively safe.  For individuals who have renal failure,  this may be a very dangerous agent and could result in severe side effects.

Because of this,  it is extremely important that doctors are thorough with their use of gadolinium.  Doctors must take all precautions before using gadolinium otherwise it is unsafe.

If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with NSF following a contrast MRI procedure, contact the NSF lawyers of Williams Kherkher to find out if you have grounds for a legal claim. Call 800-761-3187 today.
